Whether grown on mountainsides, meadows, or our own gardens; wildflowers carry a distinct beauty that adds natural color to our local landscapes. National Wildflower Week was created in 1987 and is sponsored by the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center to celebrate the beauty and importance of native wildflowers across the United States. When you think of wildflowers, think sunflowers, coneflowers, black-eyed Susan’s, forget-me-nots, or Shasta daisies.

Use a gentle watering wand or hose nozzle for thorough watering of your new plantings. Or use the Melnor Sunrise™ Timer to automatically water your plants for you.
